Integration Process Overview
The following steps outline the standard process for integrating Paysafe's eCash products via the REST API into your retailer network
Test Data
Paysafe provides a test data package that typically includes:
- API credentials for authentication
- .conf file needed for the certificate creation
- Distributor account details
- Integration checklist
- Voucher texts
- Technical documentation
IP Whitelisting
The business partner must provide the IP addresses used to connect to the PaysafeCard system.
These IPs will be whitelisted to allow secure communication.
Integration in Test Environment
The business partner integrates the API into their test environment.
Detailed information on payment flows and API requests is provided in this documentation and should be used as the basis for the implementation.
Integration Testing
Once the integration is completed in the test environment and all items in the integration checklist are fulfilled, the business partner must contact the PaysafeCard integration team.
The integration team will:
- test the API implementation
- verify voucher samples
Reconciliation Test
PaysafeCard provides a sample reconciliation file from the test environment.
The business partner must ensure that this file can be correctly processed within their systems.
Production Credentials
After successful completion of the integration tests, PaysafeCard provides production credentials, which include:
- production API key
- production account details
Switch to Production
The business partner updates the integration to use the production environment by:
- switching API endpoints
- replacing test credentials with production credentials
Production Testing
An end-to-end test must be performed in the production environment to verify correct system connectivity and functionality.
As part of this step:
- a new voucher sample must be provided as proof of successful integration in production
Go‑Live
Once the productive check is successfully completed, the technical integration is finalized and a go-live date can be scheduled.
